Vegetarian Dog Food

Vegetarian dog treats are a great way to pack extra fibre, vitamins, and minerals into your dog's diet. They’re also ideal for dogs who need to avoid meat or fish, and often have a lower calorie content for dogs needing to watch their waistline. We offer several vegetarian and vegan options that are gentle, tasty, and nutritionally supportive, like our Gnashers and Veggie Softies.

Legally and nutritionally, yes, dogs can survive on a vegetarian diet if it’s carefully formulated. That said, there’s still some debate over whether dogs are true omnivores or closer to carnivores, and the main challenge with a fully vegetarian diet is ensuring your pup gets every essential nutrient they need. We offer three vegetarian recipes: our Veg Wet Dog Food, Gnashers, and Veggie Softies. These are designed to be enjoyed alongside your dog’s regular meaty diet, adding variety and goodness. For dogs who need to avoid animal proteins altogether due to sensitivities, our Veg Wet Dog Food is a complete meal in itself, packed with over 10 different fruits and veggies for a pawfectly balanced bowl.

We offer a selection of vegetarian and vegan dog treats, including our Gnashers Dental Sticks and Plant-Powered Softies. They’re packed with fruits and veggies, making them a tasty, guilt-free option for dogs needing meat-free or lower fat rewards, or simply those that love their veggies! Please note, our recipes are made on facilities that handle animal products.

We offer meat-free and vegetarian dog food options. However they are not certified vegan, because we use Vitamin D3 sourced from sheep's wool (lanolin). It's a cruelty-free, non slaughter by-product that ensures it's a complete recipe and dogs get the essential nutrients they need. Many customers looking for plant-based or meat-free options choose our vegetarian recipes and we want to be fully transparent that they're not strictly vegan, but instead plant-based.
